The EZE Okonko, John Bosco Ole: Committee Chairman, Otampa Cultural Day 2024, second edition has announced the date for the second edition of the Otampa Cultural Day 2024, 2nd Edition. He made the announcement through a release he made with the Coordinator/Head Harrison Goodness Foundation (HGF), a sponsor of the event.

In his sustained efforts as always to carry out expediently the responsibilities of his office, and in this instance to complete his assignment keeping to the time line as designed by the National Executive Council, National Alumni Association, IMT Enugu, as it relates to the activities of his official visit to Abuja, the federal capital territory of Nigeria, in particular about realizing the well-intended programmes of the IMT@50 Programmes schedules to take off in the 26 of November, 2023 in Enugu, the Enugu State capital, the National President, National Alumni Association, IMT Enugu, Mazi Dr Agodi Kanu, accompanied by the Chairman, Abuja Chapter, Engr Tony Udemba, on Wednesday, 11th October, 2023 visited his predecessor, the Immediate Past National President (IPNP), National Alumni Association, IMT Enugu, who is also the MD/CEO of Nigerian Inland Waterways (NIWA), Chief Dr George Moghalu, in Abuja.

The former President of the Red Chamber, the Senate of the Federal Republic of Nigeria (FGN), who is also a former Secretary to the Government of the Federation (SGF), His Excellency Senator Anyim Pius Anyim, on Wednesday 11 October, 2023 in Abuja, the Federal Capital Territory of Nigeria, played host to the President, National Alumni Association, IMT Enugu, Mazi Dr Agodi Kanu who paid him an official visit.

As the IMT@50 celebration, partly designed to recognize, honour and celebrate the Legends of IMT approaches, the National President, National Alumni Association, IMT Enugu, Mazi Dr Agodi Kanu who recently called on members of the Alumni to rise up for the coming event, also enjoined other graduates (old and new) of one of the reputed higher institutions of learning in Nigeria, the Institute of Management and Technology (IMT) Enugu who are yet to join the Alumni body to do so and begin to play their part at ensuring the occasion comes successful.

Friday August 19th, 2023 goes into record for Mrs Nnabugwu Ngozi and Mrs Jineme Nkeiruka both of the St Piran Church on the Plateau and Mrs Okereke Florence Chinyere of St Michael's Anglican Church, Busa Buji who with other women enrolled into the Mothers Union, Church of Nigeria Anglican Communion, Jos Diocese on that day.

The recently elected, amiable and hardworking President of the IMT Enugu Alumni Association, Mazi Dr. Agodi Kanu, is working very hard with fellow elected National Executive Council (NEC) members, Branch Executives, Diaspora Vice President, and the recently constituted committees, and other well meaning leaders of thought of the IMT Enugu Alumni, who have since declared their support and readiness to lend their voice, time, energy and other resources in a deliberate move to make the IMT alumni count as an organic and very significant part of the Institute of Management and Technology (IMT) Enugu community as a dependable partner and reliable stakeholder.

TOWARDS IMT AT 50 CELEBRATION: ALUMNI COMMITTEES CONSTITUTED AND RELEASED BY THE PRESIDENT MAZI AGODI KANU


 

The National President of the Institute of Management and Technology (IMT) Enugu Alumni Association, Mazi Dr. Agodi Kanu, has unveiled the IMT Enugu Alumni Committees for the IMT at 50 celebration slated to hold later in the year. The document that contained the list of the various committees, with the names of the members of each of the Committees was released recently and signed by the National Secretary of IMT Alumni Association, Chief Ezeani Emmanuel, and made available to us via WhatsApp message.

The Committees were raised by the alumni President towards the successful hosting, organization and celebration of the IMT at 50 Golden Jubilee events. The released document containing list of the Committees and their members, read in part, as followers:

EASTER MESSAGE: ISUAMAWU WELFARE UNION JOS BRANCH FELICITATES WITH HER MEMBERS, OTHER CHRISTIAN FAITHFUL AND THE WORLD, ON EASTER

 


The Isuamawu Welfare Union, Jos Branch, is wishing her members, all other Christian faithful and the World, Happy Easter celebrations.

The Union uses this medium to remind the celebrants of the profound lessons of the crucifixion of Jesus Christ, the fact especially that He granted those who crucified Him forgiveness.

As you celebrate the 2023 Easter, may you be guided by the exemplary conduct of forgiveness demonstrated by Jesus Christ. Amen! It is the fervent wish and prayer of the ISUAMAWU WELFARE UNION JOS BRANCH that as you celebrate the risen Christ this Easter, you will reflect deeply on the circumstances of His death and seek truthfully from the Almighty father to grant you the heart of Christ, so you can forgive those that have offended you. We draw your attention to the fact that the Almighty, in the Holy Book, the Bible stated that He will forgive our trespasses only as we forgive those who trespass against us.

May the risen Christ whom the World celebrates His resurrection through Easter grant the members of ISUAMAWU WELFARE UNION JOS BRANCH, the Isuamawu community, Nigerians and all citizens of the World the heart to forgive one another, show more love to one another, and work more for one another.

May the Lord Almighty grant the world everlasting Peace. Amen!

Call it a day of Thanksgiving, prayers and praises; call it a memory making, a memory keeping and celebration day, in the family of Very Rev. Ogbonna Victor, of Ameke Ibeku, Umuahia North Local Government Area, Abia State, South East Nigeria, and particularly, members of the Methodist Church, at the Archbishop Dimoji Memorial Cathedral, Ihube, also the same State, when the Clergy, the men, women, youths, teens and kids of Methodist Church, and many other people, from the various Christian denominations, poured out in mass as the Bishop's wife, Nneoma Chinwendu Ada Ekebuisi, stepped out to honour an exceptional and adorable woman, a child of God, and a committed, hardworking Mother and Wife, a dedicated co-worker in the vine yard of God, who has proven over the years, a reliable and dependable, huge source of inspiration, an ally and strong supporter of her husband's calling, as a servant of God.

The Association of National Accountants of Nigeria, Plateau State Branch, has demonstrated her love and solidarity to one of her Members and Professional colleague, Mr. Patrick Dariem, FCNA, on his swearing-in as a Special Adviser to the Governor of Plateau State, Rt. Hon. Simon Bako Lalong.

Mr. Patrick Dariem, is a Fellow of the Association of National Accountants of Nigeria, ANAN. This medium brought you a report recently that he was appointed a Special Adviser to Rt. Hon. Simon Bako Lalong, the Governor of Plateau State, on Finance and Investment. Dariem and three others, who were appointed Special Advisers, respectively by Governor Lalong, were sworn-in today at the Banquet Hall, New Government House, little Rayfied, Jos, Plateau State. Among the many groups, individuals, organisations, government functionaries, traditional and religious leaders, and representatives of corporate bodies, that were on ground to show solidarity to Mr. Patrick Dariem, on his recent appointment, and subsequent swearing-in, today, 5th, September, 2016 by the Governor of Plateau state, Rt. Hon. Simon Bako Lalong, are the members of the Plateau state branch of the Association of National Accountants of Nigeria, ANAN; the Branch Mr. Dariem, served as Chairman for two consecutive tenures. He is presently, the immediate past chairman of Plateau State Branch of ANAN, and a serving member of ANAN Council Committee, after serving in a similar capacity, previously.
