VIDEO: CULTURE GOES TO SCHOOL, THE BEROM DANCE AND THE CULTURAL DAY OF ST LUKE'S


Officially, in November, the last quarter of 2024, "Culture Goes to School" the Child focused, school based, impact oriented product for value Orientation, Advocacy, Cultural awareness and sensitization, for the Youths, Teens and Kids (YTKs) in school, made her debut entry into the St Luke's Cathedral Anglican Primary school, Jos, at the  2024 Cultural Day of the school.

Reports reveal that the child friendly, age appropriated product, instantly, left indelible, positive and heartwarming impression, in the mind of the management, teaching, and none teaching staff, pupils and parents of the school.

The video you are about to watch is one of the numerous beautiful indigenous Dance of the Berom ethnic Nationality, located in Plateau state, in North Central Nigeria. The dance was performed by the Pupils of St Luke's Cathedral Anglican Primary School, Jos, during the 2024 cultural day of the school.

Interesting to note is the fact that most of the dancers, are not indigenes of Berom Land. Deliberately, the product "Culture Goes to School" is designed to promote peace and encourage unity in diversity. St Luke's Cathedral Anglican Primary School, Jos, staunchly supports, advocates and promotes unity in diversity.

The 2024 Cultural Day committee of the school demonstrated the support of the school for diversity by concentrating efforts at ensuring a mix of ethnic groups in all activities of the cultural day event of the school. Through the works of the amiable committee, the school demonstrated her unflinching support for it by ensuring that diversity featured prominently in almost all her activities.
