SOME INTERESTING THINGS YOU NEED TO KNOW ABOUT "CULTURE GOES TO SCHOOL"

 


A major objective of the product "Culture Goes to School" is promotion of diversity through public events like the cultural day activities of St Luke's Cathedral Anglican Primary School. Sensitization, awareness creation and orientation events for cultural revival through Cultural exchange programmes are other objectives of the product.


"Culture Goes to School" as a school based catch them young programme is designed, facilitated and implemented by two child friendly outfits operating in Jos, the Plateau State Capital.

Scoreline and Ngasrit Global Concept and Entertainment Plus are the two outfits. Their penchant for culture reawakening, deepening peoples interest in culture and diversification of opportunities for job creation and gainful employment are part of the motivation for the creation of "Culture Goes to School".

Increased knowledge, deeper understanding and advocacy, are part of the tools the product designers are deploying for desirable impact on the recipients or consumers of the product. Support for sustainability and continuity of the efforts, enhanced performance and and more rewarding results are needed from well meaning citizens and others. 



Massive involvement, participation, increased stakeholder engagement with the programme operators, and indeed drumming of support actively of the private and public sector actors, for increased heritage and culture and the creative industry oriented economic activities are here requested from members of the public

The two outfits (Scoreline and Ngasrit Global Concept and Entertainment Plus), apart from their interest for culture reawakening, have the reputation and knack for driving their ideas through series of events, ranging from development activities, age related, child friendly, impact driven learning packages that are designed to enhance knowledge and understanding, as well as inspire the target Group, the YTKs, will lead the series of experiential learning sessions and activities that define "Culture Goes to School".




These packages the product promoters said are intended for  practical lessons and increased awareness, necessary to build the creative, innovative and problem solving skills of the targeted, in addition to inculcating in them the right values, as well as nurturing and developing their life support skills.

The above form part of the basic skills-set required for success and sustainable living far beyond a weak and dwindling public sector economy, presently characterized by heavy unemployment, constantly rising cost and prices of goods and services, faced and challenged consistently by a very huge, emerging private sector driven Culture and Creative Industry economy.

Entertainment and fun,  integrated to ease the tension and pressure of the battered economy are two basic tools, among others that are always at work when working with Scoreline and Ngasrit Global Concept and Entertainment Plus. These basic tools and others are constantly deployed in building the capacity of the YTKs and preparing them to manage effectively the major challenges of life, and comply with the divine mandate to Man: conquer the earth and bring it under your control.
