The Isuikwuato Progressive Union Dallas Fort-Worth (DFW), INC
has announced a full scholarship Programme for the benefit of Isuikwuato Sons
and Daughters residing in the community. The Full University Scholarship Award is
for qualified candidates who sat for the 2023 Joint Admission and Matriculation
Board (JAMB) Examination organized for those seeking admission into the
Universities in the 2023/2024 Academic Session
According to the document released by the Union and signed by the Coordinator, Isuikwuato Progressive Union DFW, INC Texas USA, Chief Paul Onyeabor (Akajiugo 1 of Otampa) and Anchor Person, Isuikwuato LGA, Abia State, Mazi Sunday Uzoigwe, three scholarships, one for each of the three clans of Isuikwuato: Amawu, Imenyi and Oguduasa will be given.
The release also contained the venue, date and time for screening of the scholarship candidates as following:
- Venue: Isuikwuato High School
- Date: 24, December 2023 and
- Time: 1pm
It also revealed the basic requirement that candidates appearing for the screening must possess. They must:
- Be indigenes of Isuikwuato residing in the village
- Have scored 220 and above in the 2023/2024 JAMB Examination
- Present acceptance slip and JAMB result printout if a candidate has already secured admission under the 2023/2024 admission year
- Come with JAMB result printout and passport photograph to the venue of the scholarship screening
