NEW FORMAT FOR PUBLIC PRESENTATION AND RENDITION OF IGBO PROVERBS

Umu-Igbo, young and old, male and female, home and abroad, something interesting and of huge benefit to the Igbo race has been brewed. See how you can embrace it, promote it and contribute to this advocacy for public acceptance of it. Recognize the passion, interest, skill and commitment demonstrated by the brewer, a young man whose effort buttresses the fact that there are abundance of talents and skills in Igbo Land.

Please read to end for the link to the video.

Check around you and you can attest to the fact that there are so many people like him in most of the Igbo communities. With this development many of such will go far in life if this effort of his is promoted. It will also help to sell and market the Igbo race positively. This is absolutely captivating, excitingly unique and educative, a mixture of simplicity, commitment, purpose and focus, spiced with fun, laced with a very strong determination to deposit facts using an uncommon approach, real stuff of the Igbos.

Think of the setting, the delivery pattern and his message and imagine what it will be if elevated to a public event like the night of a thousand laughs. Apart from the excitement the attached video provides, it presents the opportunity to build the teens, youths and young adults, precisely those struggling with the issues of Igbo heritage and culture. It will help most of them to make positive inferences, build a solid base and ask the right questions, carry out self-examination, self-evaluation and self-repositioning activities regarding some of their conducts, relationship and their treatment of the Igbo heritage, culture and tradition, inclusive of language. Many of them are given birth to outside Igboland and they know next to nothing about the Igbo race.

Please click the link below, watch the attached video. Apart from watching the video, it is important you think of the format of presentation and consider the present and long term effect it will have on oral literature in Igboland and other parts of the country if promoted and as a matter of fact massively supported and of course adopted as a major means of advancing the use and deepening of proverbs in the country.

I see a future in this. I urge you all to embrace the idea and commit to it in terms of encouraging particularly public presentation, rendition and delivery of Igbo proverbs using this emerging medium. The new approach in the presentation of Igbo Proverbs becomes a tool that will not only underscore the rich philosophy of the Igbos to life, but will equally go a very long way at celebrating the Igbo proverbs, creating public awareness about them and raising events that will play significant roles in building a more cohesive and empowered people and communities.
