THE AFIZERE ANCIENT SETTLEMENT: THE 100 STEPS JOURNEY CONTINUES

History has it that until the coming of the British colonial masters to Nigeria, the people of Afizere lived in the hills.

Looking closely on the pictures above you will notice the figure 40. It indicates the number of steps so far climbed on the way to the 100 steps to the ancient settlement of the Afizere's of Plateau State, in the North.

Visibly shown on your right, in the picture above is the figure 20 written with a black colour on a yellow background on the stone. The number 20 represents the 20th step one will climb when on the 100 steps journey to the ancient settlement of the Afizere people, located in Plateau State in the North Central Zone of Nigeria. On your left is the figure 80 which indicates the number is steps yet to be climbed before getting to the last which is 100th step.
