In his sustained efforts as always to carry out expediently the responsibilities of his office, and in this instance to complete his assignment keeping to the time line as designed by the National Executive Council, National Alumni Association, IMT Enugu, as it relates to the activities of his official visit to Abuja, the federal capital territory of Nigeria, in particular about realizing the well-intended programmes of the IMT@50 Programmes schedules to take off in the 26 of November, 2023 in Enugu, the Enugu State capital, the National President, National Alumni Association, IMT Enugu, Mazi Dr Agodi Kanu, accompanied by the Chairman, Abuja Chapter, Engr Tony Udemba, on Wednesday, 11th October, 2023 visited his predecessor, the Immediate Past National President (IPNP), National Alumni Association, IMT Enugu, who is also the MD/CEO of Nigerian Inland Waterways (NIWA), Chief Dr George Moghalu, in Abuja.
The visit afforded the two very hardworking and very passionate leaders the obviously needed opportunity to once again put their heads together on an idea the two IMT Alumni leaders are very passionate about and are keen to see it executed in a very excellent and captivating manner, the planned IMT@50 celebration.
Recall that Chief Dr George Moghalu, a celebrated leader of very high repute, and a stickler to anything good and getting things done the right way always have been very instrumental in transforming the fortunes of the IMT Alumni Association, including giving the alumni association a befitting secretariat. With a leader like Agodi you can be very sure that this meeting between the two of them was a one in a million event.

The smiles on the face of the two leaders after the long session they had, was surely an indication that the time was well spent and that as a matter of fact the planned IMT@50 Celebration is seriously on course.
