Mazi Agodi, the IMT Enugu Alumni President, who in the same call made to the Alumni members and old and new graduates of IMT, urged the various governments and citizens of the South East, other leaders and Nigerians in general to rally round and support IMT in the forthcoming IMT@50 celebration, when the legends of the great institution will be honoured and the meagre project of the body unveiled.
To match words with action, the IMT Enugu Alumni President has intensified efforts at solidifying the foundation of the event by embarking on special visits to high ranking individual members of the society to seek their support, collaboration and partnership regarding the forthcoming celebration and to also share the vision of the National Alumni Association, IMT Enugu with them.

The four days official visits in Abuja, which commenced Tuesday, October 10, 2023, saw Mazi Agodi Kanu visiting three notable individuals in Abuja, the federal capital territory of Nigeria. Those visited are the federal Commissioner, representing Ebonyi State at the National Population Commission (NPC), a former member of the Green Chamber in Nigeria, the Federal House of Representative, Hon Darlington Okereke, former Inspector General of Police (IGP) Sir Mike Okiro, and a Registrar at the Supreme Court and former Chairman, IMT Alumni Chapter, Chief Chris Unigwe.
