The Church of St. Piran on the Plateau is reputed for her strictness with regard to the handling of rules. The church demands obedience and respect of rules at all times, thus no child of the church would go for confirmation without actively participating at the confirmation classes, and passing the confirmation examination. It remains a thing of joy for both parents and their children, and the Church even, whenever the children of the Church qualify for confirmation. The joy of Ihechi, Emma, Chinaza and the other children had no bounds when they made the list and the Nnabugwu’s and the church were equally happy and rejoiced with the children and the various families.

Conducting the Christian religious mandate the Bishop, Most Rev. Benjamin Argak Kwashi, assisted by Ven. Rinji Kwashi took time to admonish the children on the need to remain very faithful and obedient in carrying out the lessons of the training conducted to prepare the teenagers for a Christ centered life, and on the strength of which enjoined them to always emulate the worthy steps of the Son of God, Jesus Christ in other for them to enjoy a glorious life with God.

He equally encouraged them to always lead a lifestyle of inculcating the values of discipline, respect to their parents, and love for the scripture and to develop the interest of reading the Bible regularly. He reminded them of the need to see strengthening of their faith in the Lord as well alienating themselves from negative tendencies that can jeopardize their future and dent their relationship with the creator and His only begotten Son Jesus Christ as a must do activity of their life.

One of the celebrants Nnabugwu Ihechiluru Nakachikodi, in her highly elated mode as a teenage Girl, while speaking to our reporter at the event noted that the two barrel events: baptism and confirmation, especially the preparatory classes and the examination that came with it, served as a panacea for improving the quality of her (Ihechi) life as a Teenager, and has equally contributed in different ways towards shaping her relationship with fellow teenagers; now and in the future.

Mrs. Okpata Joy, Ihechi's God mother who was on ground to witness the Christian event encouraged her teenage girl Ihechi, her Son Okpata Emmanuel and Oguejiofor Chinaza, and other girls and boys that shared from the blessings of the event through their participation in the confirmation, to pay serious attention to the teachings they received during the confirmation classes. She urged them to do the needful always and to embrace the Holy Book, the Bible as inseparable and indispensable resource base in every of their life endeavours.

Barr Ohaja Sunday, the God father of Ihechi and the former People's Warden of The Church of St. Piran on the Plateau, noted in a telephone conversation that the two events: the baptism and confirmation have provided them with space and opportunities that a necessary for the Teenage boys and girls to interact deeper with the scripture and discover the realities of the Christian Faith; and to also understand the challenges surrounding their growth as Christians, to gain knowledge and understanding of their responsibilities at building their life now and in the future.

The second God Mother to Ihechi, Mrs. Ohaja Rose in her discussion with Ihechi's mother during Ihechi's baptism noted that the event offers a useful guide for the teenagers to continue to their destination in life, and urged them as teenagers both the boys and girls to commit to their personal improvement of quality of life using the Bible and the scriptures as their standard.
