IMT ENUGU: THE NATIONAL ALUMNI ASSOCIATION, PAYS CONDOLENCE VISIT TO THE RECTOR OF IMT ENUGU

Late Justice Centus Nweze

Prof. Austin Nweze, the Rector, Institute of Management and Technology (IMT) Enugu, played host to the National Executive Council, IMT Enugu Alumni Association, under the leadership of the President Mazi Agodi Kanu.

The IMT Alumni body visited the Rector Prof. Nweze to commensurate with him on the death of his elder brother and only surviving one for that matter, the late Justice of the Supreme Court, Justice Centus Nweze, whose demise was announced recently.

Mazi Dr. Agodi Kanu, National President,  IMT Enugu Alumni Association, was represented at the condolence visit to Prof. Nweze, by the National Secretary of the Alumni body, Chief Ezeani Emmanuel, who led the delegation.

Other members of the delegation include, the National Treasurer, Prince Chijioke Chukwuani, the National Vice President (NVP) South East, Chief Ernest Anaedu, and the National Welfare Officer 1, SW Joy Nwagbara. Also in the delegation are the IMT Alumni Chairperson, Enugu Chapter, Mrs Clara Anionwu and Engr. Okey Animba, member State Exco, Enugu Chapter. 

The delegation was warmly welcomed by the Rector, IMT Enugu, Prof. Nweze, who also received the message of Mazi Dr. Agodi Kanu who commiserated with him and his family through the National Secretary of the IMT Alumni body, on the loss of his only surviving brother, the late Justice of the Supreme Court, Justice Centus Nweze.

The IMT Alumni President, Mazi Dr.  Agodi Kanu, through the delegation assured Prof. Nweze that the IMT Alumni Association will apart from showing her presence, participate actively at the funeral of the late Supreme Court Justice.

A minute silence was also observed in honour of the late elder brother to Prof. Nweze, late Justice Centus Nweze. This was followed immediately with a short prayer offered by Engr. Okey Animba.

The entire IMT Alumni members in the country and those in the Diaspora, are through this medium consoling the immediate family of the late Justice Centus Nweze, and the family of Prof. Austin Nweze, and all others that are affected by the death of the late Justice Nweze of the Supreme Court of Nigeria.
