All is now set for the launch of the empowerment scheme of the Isuamawu Welfare Union, Women's Wing, Jos Plateau State Branch. The event which holds Sunday December 18, 2022, at the Universal Hotel Hall, in Jos, comes up by 12 noon prompt.
This information was made available to SCORELINE after a high powered delegation meeting, that held recently, in the City of Jos, the Plateau State capital, between the Executive Committee members of the Union, led by Mrs. Ezeonu Ngozi, Chairlady; and a select team of members, that comprise leaders of all the various organizing committees of the event, with the Event planner, a renowned On-Air-Presenter and highly respected and reputed event host, Mr. Tony Omeoga.
The meeting, according to Mrs. Ezeonu, was convened to put finishing touches to the coming event. She said "We have convened this meeting to review our plans, put finishing touches where necessary, and conduct a dress rehearsal for our dance, to ensure overall success of the event.
From investigation, we gathered that Isuamawu Men and Women, home and abroad, are highly reputed, celebrated and respected by people of other clime, not only because they have proven, over the years to be friendly, cultured and trustworthy. They have maintained steadily, a convincing posture of hospitable disposition, and have retained people's accolades, as respecter of other people's culture and heritage, which they have by all intent and purposes, demonstrated, openly and consistently, to all people and communities without sentiment of any kind, attached.
As wives, Isuamawu women, are known for their home building ability, very strong attachment and huge support to spouse, and community, and celebrated image builders. There is a consensus of opinion that Isuamawu women understand very clearly, like the back of their hands, the value of a neat wife, on the psych of the husband, hence, their uncommon level of unflinching commitment to cleanliness of the body and environment.
On the strength of the above, the Union, is equally using the opportunity offered by her empowerment scheme launch, to present to the public her new uniform, as a source of inspiration and reminder to women, of the need to remain clean always, bearing in mind the undisputed fact about what they ate, the object of attraction and symbol of beauty to the husband, at home, and in every ramifications, and aware also, of their noble role and fundamental call, to stand out every point in time as worthy ambassadors of their family, in and outside the home front, especially now that Nigerian economy is wobbling and at a near comatose stage. It is equally serving as a reminder to the husbands to remain encouraging and supportive in this regard.
The Union uses this medium to invite Sons and Daughters of Isuamawu, Ndi-Ogo, Ndi-Nwa-Nwa, friends and well wishers, to come out enmass to grace the occasion, coming up on Sunday 18, December, 2022, at the Universal Hotel, Jos.
