ASHAMED

By Prince Emmanuel C. Umahi (Degeneral)

I am a Man on a mission,
Whose deal is to take Jesus to the nations.
A Man who is bound to the true salvation.
Whose faith is bound on the solid rock.

And my name been blotted out of the book of death and
written in the book of life with the Master's caps lock.
A lion who cannot be tamed,
So I am Not Ashamed.

I am no longer a sinner,
But now a winner.
His love and mercy has kept me,
Grace never wrecked me.
And His joy is what I see.

Free from transgression,
A victor from oppression,
And to my generation, a solution.
His peace is where am framed,
So I am Not Ashamed.

I am a son of the most High,
Like an eagle, soaring very high.
Due to His sufficiency in grace, problems became a comic relief,
And to every calamity, I say "Begone Unbelief".
His shield has kept me from been a target, already aimed,
So I am Not Ashamed.

Even among the Gentiles,
I am Not Ashamed
When am faced with fake smiles,
I am Not Ashamed.

When there's no bread on the table,
I am Not Ashamed
And the road, no longer comfortable
I am Not Ashamed.

Even among the Jews,
I am Not Ashamed
And the cloud, with no speck of blue
I am Not Ashamed.

Even among the Greeks,
I am Not Ashamed
And when the gospel is needed in the creeks
I am Not Ashamed.

When am in the midst of evil speakers,
I am Not Ashamed
And my exhortations banned on speakers
I am Not Ashamed.

In the ghettos,
I am Not Ashamed
And when there are pains and sorrows
I am Not Ashamed.

For He been the perfect melody to my harmony,
I am Not Ashamed
For giving me a testimony
I am Not Ashamed.

For redefining my essence,
I am Not Ashamed
And because I live for His existence
I am Not Ashamed.
