Responding after the award was presented to him, ACP Emmanuel Addo, Deputy Commander, Operation Safe Haven (OPSH), Jos, has this to say:

“I am highly delighted for the honour done me through this award. First and foremost, I must appreciate my Commander, Major General Rogers Nickolas. He is the Commander Operation Save Haven, Jos. And indeed a father to all of us in the Command. He is not here because he is on assignment outside the state”.

“I must commend the Police Assistant Committee for the good work you are doing in the community that has been very instrumental to our operations. I encourage you to sustain the efforts and to never relent”.
“I am aware that people appreciate our efforts, but from a distance. It is not always that people come this close to appreciate us”.

“This award, though given to me, I must tell you is for the entire command. Whatever you have noticed on the Plateau that necessitated this award, couldn’t have been done by me alone. It is a collective effort. As a matter of fact, it is a reflection, of the untiring efforts and unflinching commitment and support of the Commander to all of us under his command. The greatest beneficiary of this award is the Operation Safe Haven, under the command and leadership of the Commander, Major General Rogers Nickolas.  I therefore dedicate this award recognition to the entire personnel and men of the Operation Safe Haven, Jos, and Plateau State”.

“As you are aware, all I have said wouldn’t have been possible without the commitment and very honest disposition of the political leadership at both the federal and the State. On this note, therefore, let me generously appreciate the President and Commander in Chief, of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, President Muhammadu Buhari for his focused leadership, support and commitment towards ensuring peace and protection of life of everybody in the country”.
“The government of Plateau State under the leadership of His Excellency, the Governor of Plateau State, Rt. Hon. Barr Simon Bako Lalong, has been very instrumental to our operations. His timely and objective inputs whenever necessary, is commendable”.

“Finally, let me say that this award presentation has spurred us to do more. May the Almighty continue to strengthen and lead PAC always ”. He concluded.
