♫ I started in the Church as a drummer
With the glorious renditions and no
melodrama
During ministrations
I had the greatest joy to preach to nations
And
tell them the truth about salvation.
I
learnt many drum rolls
Which
we played during carols
♫ I fell in love with my sticks
And the perfect bass drum kicks.
Rolling on the tom-toms gave me joy
That’s
why I’m called the little drummer boy.
Also,
one thing I cherish most,
Is
my inspiration from the Holy Ghost.
People
kept saying that I was a sick
For
been Jesus freak,
I
laugh because I see myself at the peak.
♫ My life was not like clashing cymbals
But it is shining as crystals
Mama always told me to strike for
perfection
And I’m on my knees praying for God’s
direction.
Had
big dreams
Like
playing in shows like Nigeria Idol and Project Fame
Also been watched on TV screens,
Amidst much cheers and screams.
Daddy also told me to use the perfect harmony
This
would act as my melody and symphony.

Knowing the history of how you started is a very wonderful thing but realizing the changes that has to be made from time to time gives the competitive edge.
