THE PATH TO REAL LIFE: LITTLE THINGS THAT MATTER

By Nnabugwu Chizoba

Dear esteemed reader.

While it may seem fashionable to see a thing(s) (in the present) and be moved or tempted to draw a comparison between that and what you had seen in the past, my charge to you is to, simply:
  • Adopt the unfashionable; which is
  • See the future and use it to judge the present.
Similarly, I have this notion, that the attitude of most or many people is to think, crave, push or demand for a bigger mirror always.
My charge is:
  • Always focus, seek and concentrate on the substance - the light.
I consider the size of the mirror unimportant, knowing and believing that the strength of the light is more important. It is the light that sharpens and strengthens the intensity of our desire to see clearer. The light is the focus (Substance). In a strong light, a small piece of mirror can be much more useful, in fact, more useful than a mirror the size of a wall, in the dark.

While you ponder over the issues above, let me share with you the joy, love, solidarity and support of family, friends, Professional colleagues, and community members. Please see below.

Recall that recently we brought you a report that Mr. Patrick Dariem, was sworn-in as a Special Adviser on Finance and Investment, by the Plateau state governor, Rt. Hon Simon Bako Lalong. Below are some pictures from that occasion.
