CREATING OPPORTUNITIES FOR THE EMERGENCE OF NIGERIAN ENTREPRENEURS AND REPOSITIONING THE COUNTRY FOR GREATNESS

By Nnabugwu Chizoba

As the world evolves, it is also expected that the human race adapts to the changes that come with it. One vital organ of the future, in any given generation is the youths. Hence, their maturation to adulthood is always of concern to all.

The saying that “beautiful pictures are developed from negatives in a dark room” is becoming typical of Nigerians, especially the youths, who are learning to carve a desirable future for themselves and the country, irrespective of the proven poor state of both governance and infrastructure in the country.

Rather than wait endlessly for the intrigues and politicking that has resulted in almost a total drift by elected political office holders and politicians in the country, many Nigerians make bold to assert that, in Nigeria, as elsewhere, poverty is only a symptom and not the disease as many people may think.

The unresponsive nature of the political office holders to the Socio-economic challenges in the country that have brought in its wake decay of very wide magnitude and propensity are not enough to deter these young Nigerians from not only providing employment opportunities for themselves and others but, has equally created a wider opportunity for others that understand the secret of not digging the more once you find yourself in a hole, since the fundamental outcome of such is falling deeper into the hole.

Wasting precious moments discussing some of the unprintable actions, engaged by politicians and their cohorts in the corridors of power without taken any meaningful steps to counter them, will only lead to depletion of energy, which if deplored reasonably will produce better results. This is what some Nigerians have simply realized.

This set of Nigerias have come out to demonstrate very clearly, that “inside the masquerade” is hidden an object that once the matches is thrown on it a full fledged human being will run out of it”.

Today, in the country, there are strong training institutions such as the Belford Business Institute (operated by Belford Institute Consultants Ltd), with bias for entrepreneurship and Business development, financial literacy, conflict mediation/resolution, peace building and leadership, that has identified symptoms of structural defects in skills, training and development and is working so hard to address the identified gaps, and reposition the people for improved performance and increased productivity.
There is the Reality Newspaper(s), a media outfit that has given power and voice to the voiceless rural communities in Plateau state and beyond. An outfit that has produced dare devil reporters, which has brought a huge difference in media reportage, and created value to information and the mediums that carry them. Reality Newspaper(s), within few years of its establishment, has become a household name, competing favourably and beating many media outfits earlier established, which were considered by many people before the emergence of Reality Newspaper(s) as giant platforms.

You will recall that this medium brought you a report about “Kommon Sense” a card based communication enhancement Tool, invented by a young Nigerian and produced by the el-spice media. The unveiling of the Communication Tool, (presently making waves) in Nigeria, took place in November 2016, in collaboration with Belford Institute and National Orientation Agency, (NOA) Nigeria.

This medium is authoritatively informing you that a crop of Nigerian youths, have teamed up to unveil in the Nigerian sporting arena, a new Sports that will throw up champions in the form of world bests and celebrities. The Street Skaters and Stunts Africa popularly known as “Triple S Africa”, has introduced Skating as a serious and competitive Sports in Nigeria.

will keep you updated with developments and pioneering efforts of the Triple S Africa towards the development of the game of Skating as a competitive sporting event in the Nigerian sporting arena.
