Private
Sector exclusion in policy formulation and implementation by the
very few that parade the corridors of power, has created a major
gap, in Africa’s development.
, is leading a
movement to bridge the gap, and ensure active engagement of what is noticeably
and evidently the power house of economic development, the Private sector. The
capacity of the Sector to provide jobs, generate wealth and more importantly
build the eroded confidence, morale and values of the African, is definitely
not in doubt.
Stories of individuals, groups and corporate
organisations that have played major roles to develop the sector, the lives and
times of real African entrepreneurs are welcomed.
Ponder
over the activities of government institutions, created to stimulate, promote
and enhance entrepreneurship, export, tourism, sports, and arts and crafts
development. Do you think they are doing enough, in terms of their spread and relationship
with the rural areas?
Consider
government organs saddled with responsibility, such as Consumer Protection, Product
Standardisation, Protection of Local Industries and business support services.
What’s your view about their performance?
There
are indigenous Professional Bodies, in Africa. Do you think they are doing
enough, in terms of contribution to entrepreneurship and Private Sector
development? What of the insurance industry, are you satisfied with their
performance?

Africans are saying:
If you Know something! If you Hear something!! If you See something!!!... Please, Say something! Please Do something!!...
